I live in Byron with my husband and wonderful little boys. I’ve been fascinated with childbirth and newborns ever since I can remember! Working as a health educator and breastfeeding counselor, along with the birth of my sons, has inspired me to become a birth professional. I had a homebirth with my second baby and the experience has inspired me even more! I’m pursuing my birth doula certification through DONA, I teach childbirth classes and am working towards Lamaze certification and I’m a Certified Lactation Counselor. I also provide postpartum doula services. I’m fluent in Spanish and enjoy working with families of all backgrounds. My passions lie in helping families with a healthy and happy start. Knowledge, guidance and emotional/ physical support are important in achieving the birth you desire, whether natural or medically managed. As your doula, I’ll assist you during your pregnancy, labor and postpartum experience to help you understand your options and teach you comfort measures and relaxation techniques to help make your birth a positive and treasured experience.

I live in Preston MN with my husband and three children. I became fascinated with pregnancy and birth when I was pregnant with our oldest in 2002. I started school to pursue a degree in nursing to work in labor and delivery. Halfway through my first semester I came across a birthing show and the mother had hired a doula. I then began researching what a doula was and thought it better suited what I wanted to do in life. I’m also working with an agency to become a surrogate mom for families that can’t have children of their own. At this time I do not charge for my doula services as I am still working towards my certification.

I became interested in becoming a doula while I was finishing school for massage therapy. After I graduated I went on to get my doula certification and loved being able to help moms have the best birth experience possible. I have four children of my own and think that every birth is a miracle. I also offer infant massage classes to all of my clients as well.

I am a stay-at-home mother of four beautiful children. After several years in a career as an industrial engineer, I realized after the birth of my first child that my true passion was in the field of pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding. I felt drawn to be a doula because of my positive experience with a wonderful doula at the birth my first child. The importance of her support was invaluable, and I knew I wanted to help other women in the same way. I believe all women can benefit from continuous emotional and physical support during childbirth. As a DONA certified birth doula, it is my goal to help you have a positive and empowering birth experience.
I am currently not taking clients, but please feel free to contact me for informational or educational support.

I live in Richfield with my husband, and I am a mother of a wonderful little girl and an amazing boy. I became a certified doula through DONA in August of 2007. I am a Lamaze-trained childbirth educator, and I offer both birth doula and postpartum doula support, as well as private childbirth classes based on the Lamaze Philosophy of Birth. My goal is to provide doula care that informs and empowers women from all walks of life. I want to help each of my clients feel like she and her partner understand the entire birth process. I want to make sure each mother knows that I am with her to support her 100%. For this reason, I can work with mothers making a variety of choices, including epidurals and inductions. No matter what choices are made, I will help each mother through encouragement, reassurance, and physical comfort measures.

I am a mother to four beautiful children. I am a stay-at-home mom and truly blessed. Being a doula is more than just a job for me, it is a passion. I became a doula after providing support for my sister with the birth of her third son (natural water birth). She wanted a natural birth but wasn’t sure if she could do it. I knew after her birth that “this” was something I could do for all moms. Every birth is different, and every mother has their own idea of what they hope the experience will be like. My goal is to understand that idea and provide the necessary emotional and physical support where she feels understood, supported, empowered, and positive about the whole birth experience. I live in Red Wing Minnesota with my husband and four children. I have been a doula since 2009, and I am currently working on my Le Leche League accreditation as well as becoming a Certified Lactation Counselor.

I first became fascinated with pregnancy and birth when I was pregnant with my first son in 2006. Several years later, I am just as passionate about childbirth. I completed my DONA doula training in May 2008 and was DONA certified in December 2008. I have personally experienced a cesarean birth and two VBAC births (one a waterbirth at home!). My goal as a doula is to assist mothers and fathers through pregnancy and birth by providing the information and support they need to make informed decisions regarding the birth of their child. I offer encouragement, physical comfort measures and emotional support to parents with a variety of birth preferences, including natural birth, cesarean birth, and the use of pain medication during labor. I live in Rochester with my husband, two sons and daughter.

My name is Michele. I have been married to my husband for 10 years and we have a beautiful daughter who is 9. Recently many friends and family members were expecting, and I found myself trying to help them have the best experience with pregnancy and birth. I researched acupressure, and massage for expecting moms and found that there are so many other ways to conquer labor pains than with drugs. I was fascinated! It was then that I decided to take the DONA training to become a doula. My mission has become to educate woman about the options and choices we can make during child birth. I truly believe that childbirth is not a medical procedure, but a natural event that every woman has the power to achieve. Whether it be natural childbirth, medicated, home birth or Cesarean every woman can have a positive birth experience with the comfort and support of a doula.

Birth is a very special occasion in a woman’s life. I feel so honored when a woman chooses me to be her doula during the birth of her baby to provide support for both her and her partner. These birth memories are moments in our lives we will never forget and this is why I feel so honored when a woman allows me to be a part of that memory; a memory that lasts a lifetime. I have always been passionate about birth, but since the birth of my third child at home in March of 2009 I have been even more passionate about it. It was the most amazing event of my life and I want to help women have that same feeling after their birth. I work for you and only you and because of this I am able to help guide you through the birth process in an unbiased way. I am currently a trained doula through DONA and a Certified Lactation Specialist. My husband, three kids and I live in Mankato.
